The basket : Weekday online
I've spent several hours online window shopping at Weekday, so it's good news that I finally will find the basket.

Natural Grown Patterns
I have a weakness for everything handmade (next to other weaknesses as you might have noticed such as magazines and surprisingly fresh designs/ideas).
German label Anntian and Belgian designer Katrien van Hecke have a similarity in the way of working with/dying their fabrics. Both of them have the work done all by hand with some experimental fase in the process which results in one-of-a-kind fabrics and sculptural clothing pieces.
Detail and very interesting : Katrien van Hecke dyes with herbs and natural pigments! check the story here on Coffeeklatch (a nice blog about people and their living).
I'm not much of an interpreter, so more information can be read via the links.

A Classical Start
A typical new year's day is the classical concert in Vienna on tv, so I thought this book, Sixtina 2012, could be a good start here.
Sit back and relax (a couple of) these 224 details of the Sistene Madonna by Raphael photographed by Katharina Gaenssler.
